Ware can you bie or rent discriptive movies in the u.s?

Hie all. I was just wundering ware I could bie or rent discriptive movies besides the state library, they don't have a good solecktion in Maryland. If enny one could help me out with this I would be extreemly greatful! Have a great day,

The only place that comes to mind is WGBH. They have a pretty large variety of discriptive videos and I think are the main people that do that. There are some other groups that discribe programs on regular TV, but I don't know if they rent or lend videos as well. Anyway, the website for WGBH is http://main.wgbh.org/wgbh/pages/mag/services/description/, and the phone number is 1-888-818-1181 for a free braille catalog, 1-888-818-1999 for a large print one, and 1-800-333-1203 for a listing of the available videos/films that are discribed.

I use that phone number all the time. Also, try local public libraries. Do you have Blockbuster video stores in your area? They are also supposed to sell and rent DVS movies.
